Give For Good This Holiday

In April of this year, when John heard the news that his youngest son and his beautiful wife found out that they were going to have their first child, he cried happy tears, knowing that my granddaughter from his eldest son John and his wife would have someone to grow up with. His spouse of 30 years, and he were overjoyed!  He had no idea that a few days later, he would be given a death sentence by his doctor: Pancreatic Cancer, arguably the second-most deadly cancer in the world.

His prognosis was 11 months to live or chemotherapy for four months and surgery to remove my spleen, pancreas, and gall bladder. Over 80% of the people who survive these standard procedures, as he was advised towards, develop new tumors within that time.

At only 56 years old – he was crushed.  But John found hope...
